Venue: Faculty of Biology and Geology, 5-7 Clinicilor Street, 400 006, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
9th May – Field trip – Meziad Show Cave
As part of the conference field trip, participants will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Meziad Show Cave, open to the public and equipped for guided tours. The cave offers an excellent opportunity to gain insight into underground natural and cultural heritage and karst landscapes.
Join us in exploring vast chambers, rich speleothem formations, and a site with a long history of exploration, guided by an experienced cave explorer and the designer of the show cave you will visit.
Meziad Cave (Pădurea Craiului Mountains, part of the Apuseni Mountains)
Participation in this field trip will be subject to a fee, with further details provided in the registration form.
