Admission calendar for Ph.D academic year 2024 – 2025:
Calendar for citizens of Romania, the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, British citizens and members of their families as beneficiaries of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01 and Romanians living abroad
JULY:
- 15 – 19 July 2024: online registration of candidates on the platform and submission of documents in physical format to the SD Secretariat
- 22– 26 July 2024: admission exams
- 26 – 30 July 2024: confirmation of the acceptance of doctoral student
- 30 September 2024: enrollment in doctoral studies

Calendar for non-EU citizens (from countries other than the EU, EEA, UK and CH) paying tuition fees in foreign currency
March 15, 2024 until June 17, 2024: Applying for Letter of Acceptance
- 4 – 9 september 2024: online registration of candidates on the platform and submission of documents in physical format to the SD Secretariat
- 10 – 16 september 2024: admission exams
- 16 – 19 september 2024: confirmation of the acceptance of doctoral student
- 30 september 2024: enrollment in doctoral studies
Registration of candidates for the PhD admission
- All candidates to doctoral studies need to have a doctoral supervisor from Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai and to receive the preliminary agreement from the future supervisor, in order to apply for Ph.D studies.
