\nThe study programs are supported by the department’s permanent or affiliated teaching staff.
\nThe material base consists of educational and research laboratories equipped with specific instruments.<\/h4>\n

The Geology Library<\/strong> has a collection of over 35,000 volumes and journals, with two reading rooms that can accommodate 10 and 30 people, respectively.
\nThe collection is periodically updated with specialized journals and new volumes obtained through purchases, donations, and exchanges.
\nThe library features an electronic catalog and an electronic bibliographic database for tracking books and periodicals.
\nAdditionally, international databases with specialized publications can be accessed online.<\/h4>\n

The Department of Geology at \u201cBabe\u015f-Bolyai\u201d University also hosts two museums with a long-standing tradition \u2013 the Museum of Paleontology and Stratigraphy<\/strong> and the Museum of Mineralogy<\/strong> \u2013 which feature authentic exhibits of exceptional value, also used in the educational process.
\nThere are also numerous educational collections of minerals, rocks, fossils, models, mock-ups, and more.<\/h4>\n

The Department of Geology<\/strong> has integrated into several European programs with educational and research profiles, bringing significant benefits to the training of students and young researchers.
\nWithin the European educational programs (ERASMUS-SOCRATES, CEEPUS<\/strong>), geology students have attended courses lasting 6\u201312 months at universities abroad (Brussels, Budapest, Krakow, Erlangen, Fribourg, Graz, Ljubljana, London, Lund, Naples, Pavia, Perugia, Salzburg, Vienna, etc.).
\nAdditionally, guest professors from abroad have conducted intensive courses for geology students in Cluj.<\/h4>\n

\nSpecialized assistance in the field is provided by teaching staff, who coordinate specialized projects in the country (the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, the Apuseni Mountains, the Transylvanian Basin, etc.) and abroad: Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland.<\/h4>\n
